Back in 1990, when I was still living in London, I decided to shoot some black and white Super 8 footage of a friend practising Hapkido. We went to the gym and I must’ve used up a couple of rolls at the most. Twenty odd years later, I thought I’d edit the film to one of my own compositions (for use of a better word). The use of the mirror effect gave it an eerie and sensual feel.
